In May, I had 6 afghans to donate. I forgot to take a picture of them! The majority of them were "baby" looking afghans. Light pink, blue, green, yellow and white.
One day, early in Calen's
chemotherapy treatments, he
was really cold sitting in the
infusion room. I asked the
nurse for a blanket, and she
gave Calen an afghan. She said
there were people who made them
and donated them to the clinic
for the kids.
A couple months after Calen
finished his treatments in
December 2003, I started thinking
of a way to give back. I asked at
the clinic if they needed more
afghan donations, their answer
was yes!
So in March, 2004 I started
crocheting afghans for the kids
at University of Kentucky,
Kentucky Clinic,
Hematology Oncology Clinic.
Thanks for taking a look at My Project!!
